Here's My Story

Surviving Infidelity: 25 "Where does one start....."

Where does one start this story without reliving the pain, mistrust, hurt that the one man you promised your love to and took vows with became someone I will never know. I believe in my heart and gut he will never know the truth about himself. Or rather never admit it. I beat myself up emotionally for caring and loving him although each lie he vocalized (and wanted me to believe so badly) NONE did I ever believe. Once the trust was lost can anyone or any couple earn that again even with therapy and communicating??? Tell me why with Infidelity does the guilty spouse almost 99% always place blame or try to blame the "true" spouse for cheating when its themselves? How do they sleep? Or look in the mirror each day? Do they really believe they are so above the rest of the world that it’s allowed to cheat? My husband of only 3 years (separated 18months) still desires me as his wife, is miserable with the woman he left me for.
