Here's My Story

Surviving Infidelity: 75 When I found evidence of the affair, he continues to deny it…

After almost 23 years of marriage, my husband asked for a divorce. Although we had been having problems I was shocked and devastated. I suspected there was someone else. Even when I found evidence of the affair, he continues to deny it. We tried off and on for close to a year to work things out but he blamed me for all our problems (I suffer from depression and although I have always worked, I have had difficulty finding a stable job in my field). I finally physically kicked him out when I went away for a wedding and my daughter came home early from work and found his "secretary" at my house. He continues to deny the affair but will not tell me where he is lives and has made my life financially a financial mess. We have little contact because he is emotionally abusive. My children are 17 and 20 and are my joy and my strength. They are the only reason I am still here. I have tried dating but have been hurt and disappointed by the experience. I am very lonely but don't want to "settle" so.... it is a struggle every day. Jenny
