Yall, I am here to express my amazement...I was comining home from my stress test tday and the "check engine" light decided to flash...I had all intentions of having the old thing fixed,however I found myself at a new car lot...oh yes, i bought a new truck...mine had 134,000 miles and the ex had trashed it and I do mean trashed it...so, it only makes sense to treat myself ! In the process of puchasing this truck, the finance manager asked me if I were married and i replied " happily not".
He then expounds of his experience with an unfaithful wife,they had recently divorced. I expressed my sorrow for him that he had experienced an unfaithful wife,told him I had recent experience with the aftermath of an unfaithful lover...
He then said " well, it's not like I was faithful to her either "
OH MY !!!    I was speechless. He then told me he has no intention of ever marrying again. To which I replied " Thank God for everyone's sake" Sheesh. My stomach started churning and I really wanted to jerk a knot in the jerk...Is fidelity a thing of the past? Is it true that monogamy is a myth?  If  I were to (much, much later on,mind you) become involved with someone,should I be expecting an exclusive relationship or should I expect another bomb to drop....
I cannot fathom living through this turmoil again,I know I would not survive.
I do not understand all of this.
